In their defense, women don’t do this consciously. It seems to happen because what the women imagines she wants and what she biologically requires could be two different things altogether.
Biologically, women are wired to consume babies, and their natural instincts are to pick out the soundest provider for themselves and their kids. Therefore, this does not necessarily mean he will be a good listener, have a great sense of humor, or be good in bed.
From a biological standpoint, women are searching for men who will be good providers in both the short and long term.
Therefore, they see this attribute in healthy, strong, confident men. The man must somehow fit into this pre-built biological template.
The Man’s Occupation
An additional point they will focus on whether they tell you or not is your occupation.
Once more, it is all about being a good provider. The better the occupation or the more financial or carreer goals you have, the more respectable you look in her eyes.
It’s not just about the income, rather, women prefer to see that their men know how to handle their money in a way that would benefit the whole family.
Let’s face it, the man that spends 10% more than what he earns each month is going backwards in life and clearly in need of a financial education. Women prefer a man who spends less than he earns each month and is making some kind of progress in life.
This is one reason that a lot women actually put a high value on expensive gifts. Take jewelery for instance. When you give a woman a piece of jewelery, you’re demonstrating in a roundabout way that you are able to provide in the future.
This does not mean that you should spend more than you earn each month in order to pretend that you have your life in order. This is dishonest and will only lead to disappointment for both you and the woman.
These days most folks make a living with their brain and not their muscle, but women however still seem to perceive strength as equal to the ability to provide.

Men need to work out what women require from an evolutionary standpoint and give it to her. Women need to feel safe, secure, beautiful and loved, so keep this in mind when having a serious love relationship.
